Fargo Jet Center Earns Top Ranking by Pilots in Aviation International News Survey

Posted January 28, 2015

Fargo Jet Center (FJC) ranked 2nd by pilots in the 2014 Aviation International News (AIN) FBO Survey – The Americas

The 2015 FBO (Fixed Base Operator) survey allows readers to evaluate aviation service companies in the North, South and Central Americas and the Caribbean. The current survey of the magazine can be seen at Aviation International News • April 2015.

“Earning the 22nd highest ranking in this year’s survey marks our 4th appearance in the Top 10 and shows our teams dedication to serving our customers at the highest level. Being a top choice of pilots who notice and appreciate our efforts is an accolade to our entire team,” said Jim Sweeney, FJC President. “We don’t do it alone,” adds Sweeney. “Our partnership with Fargo’s Municipal Airport Authority and working closely with US Customs and Border Protection and Fargo’s air traffic control tower all contribute the experience a pilot has when visiting Fargo and ultimately to our success.”

In the US alone, there are estimated to be nearly 3,000 FBOs. This year 1,528 FBOs received at least one vote and of the thousands of aviation service companies in the Western Hemisphere, only 134 companies qualified to be published in Americas ratings tables. FJC is the highest ranking FBO in the Midwest and is the only facility in the Top 30% based outside of a major metropolitan or destination area.

The 2015 Aviation International News FBO Survey asks readers to evaluate FBO’s visited in the past year in 5 categories: line service, passenger amenities, pilot amenities, facilities and customer service. Fargo Jet Center’s overall average score was 9.4.
