Hector International Airport has joined the list of public places offering high-speed wireless internet access.  However, Hector is providing the service free of charge. 

Wireless Internet access, or WiFi, has been growing tremendously recently and it will be a great convenience to the 1,400 passengers that pass through the terminal each day.  All the user needs is to turn on their laptop and it should automatically detect the network signal.  Download speeds of up to 10 mb/second will be available with the system.

Beside the wireless option, there are also 14 standard wired network jacks (Cat 5) for passengers without a WiFi card.  These are at the nine work stations at the three business centers and also five network jacks are available at the snack bar counter.
