Departure Lounge Receives Televisions September 30, 2006

Keeping in touch with the world is very important to many travelers that use Hector. Departing passengers are now informed of the daily news as they await boarding. This Fall two Samsung 42" plasma televisions were installed in each end of the departure lounge and tuned to a national cable news channel.

 

The intention of this new service is not to just keep passengers informed, but also help passengers pass time between check-in and boarding. Hector is constantly striving to make the traveling experience as seamless as possible to its passengers.

 

News programming combined with the free wireless internet access available throughout the terminal is now keeping passengers in touch more than ever before with the world around them.
