Airline passenger traffic in April at Hector International Airport showed an increase as compared to the same month in 2008. In April 2009, the passenger enplanements were 23,888. This is an increase of 5.0% when compared to the April 2008 passenger enplanements of 22,734.

Total passenger count for the month was 49,107, which is up 6.2% over the same period last year.
