Airline passenger traffic in April at Hector International Airport showed an increase as compared to the same month in 2009. In April 2010, the passenger enplanements were 27,234. This is an increase of 14.0% when compared to the April 2009 passenger enplanements of 23,888.

In April 2010, Frontier Airlines discontinued service to Denver and American Eagle initiated service to Chicago O'Hare.
