Airline passenger traffic in April at Hector International Airport showed an increase as compared to the same month in 2011. In April 2012, the passenger enplanements were 27,373. This is an increase of 4.7% when compared to the April 2011 passenger enplanements of 26,148.

This was the busiest April on record. The previous record was set in 2010.

Total passenger count for the month was 57,277, which is up 5.6% over the same period last year.

There were 577 air carrier departures in the month of April with a daily average of 1,909 passengers both arriving and departing.
