Airline passenger traffic in August at Hector International Airport showed an increase as compared to the same month in 2004. In August 2005, the passenger enplanements were 23,851. This was an increase of 1.4% when compared to the August 2004 passenger enplanements of 23,527.

Total passenger count for the month was 47,548, which is up 2.9% over the same period last year.
