Airline passenger traffic in August at Hector International Airport showed a decrease as compared to the same month in 2009. In August 2010, the passenger enplanements were 31,534. This is a decrease of -4.8% when compared to the August 2009 passenger enplanements of 33,133.

Total passenger count for the month was 63,125, which is down -4.6% over the same period last year.

There were 651 air carrier departures in the month of August with a daily average of 2,036 passengers both arriving and departing.
