Airline passenger traffic in December at Hector International Airport showed an increase as compared to the same month in 1997. In December 1998, the passenger enplanements were 18,393. This is an increase of 10.5% when compared to the December 1997 passenger enplanements of 16,703.

Total passenger count for the month was 36,713, which is up 10.1% over the same period last year.
