Airline passenger traffic in February at Hector International Airport showed an increase as compared to the same month in 2007. In February 2008, the passenger enplanements were 26,773. This is an increase of 5.4% when compared to the February 2007 passenger enplanements of 25,598.

February 2008 was the busiest in the airport's history.

Total passenger count for the month was 52,371, which is up 5.4% over the same period last year.

Also in February, Frontier Airlines announced they would initiate twice-daily service from Fargo to Denver on May 12, utilizing the 76-seat Embraer 170 aircraft.
