Airline passenger traffic in February at Hector International Airport showed an increase as compared to the same month in 2011. In February 2012, the passenger enplanements were 32,597. This is an increase of 7.7% when compared to the February 2011 passenger enplanements of 30,266.

This was the busiest February on record. The previous record was set in 2010.

Total passenger count for the month was 62,881, which is up 6.4% over the same period last year.

There were 543 air carrier departures in the month of February with a daily average of 2,168 passengers both arriving and departing.
