Airline passenger traffic in January at Hector International Airport showed an increase as compared to the same month in 2010. In January 2011, the passenger enplanements were 29,008. This is an increase of 1.3% when compared to the January 2010 passenger enplanements of 28,636.

This was the busiest January on record.

Total passenger count for the month was 57,607, which is up 2.8% over the same period last year.

There were 584 air carrier departures in the month of January with a daily average of 1,858 passengers both arriving and departing.
