Airline passenger traffic in March at Hector International Airport showed a decrease as compared to the same month in 2010. In March 2011, the passenger enplanements were 35,588. This is a decrease of -1.8% when compared to the March 2010 passenger enplanements of 36,075. This was the second busies March on record and the second busiest overall month on record.

Total passenger count for the month was 72,239, which is down -1.6% over the same period last year.

There were 610 air carrier departures in the month of March with a daily average of 2,330 passengers both arriving and departing.
