Airline passenger traffic in May at Hector International Airport showed an increase as compared to the same month in 2009. In May 2010, the passenger enplanements were 29,964. This is an increase of 12.2% when compared to the May 2009 passenger enplanements of 26,704.

May 2010 was the busiest May on record. Hector has exceeded monthly boarding's every month for the last 12 months and 18 of the last 19 months.

Total passenger count for the month was 59,907, which is up 12.7% over the same period last year.

There were 587 air carrier departures in the month of May with a daily average of 1,932 passengers both arriving and departing.
