Air travelers in the region have an opportunity to enroll in the Transportation Security Administration’s popular TSA Pre✓® program July 9-13, 2018, at Hector International Airport. Appointments will be accepted for the hours of 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. and will be held in airport conference room located on the second floor of the passenger terminal.

TSA Pre✓® is an expedited screening program that enables identified low-risk air travelers to enjoy a smart and more efficient screening experience. For TSA Pre✓® travelers, there is no need to remove shoes, 3-1-1 liquids, laptops, light outerwear or belts. TSA Pre✓® operates dedicated precheck lanes at over 200 airports across the country, including Hector International Airport.

Appointments for applications can be made in advance of this one-week event. Appointment scheduling and pre-enrollment is available at identogo.com/precheck.

Applicants must bring proof of identity and U.S. citizen documentation, such as a U.S. passport or birth certificate and driver’s license, to the on-site appointment, where fingerprints are collected for a background check. The application fee is $85 for five years of service and can be paid by credit card, money order, company check or certified/cashier’s check. Cash and personal checks will not be accepted.
