Hector International Airport’s airline passenger traffic in April showed another decrease when compared to the same month in 2019. April is the first full month since the pandemic halted almost all air travel. In April 2020, the passenger enplanements were 1,555. This is a decrease of -95.6% when compared to the April 2019 passenger enplanements of 35,402.
Total passenger count for the month was 4,075, which is down -94.5% over the same period last year.
There were 194 air carrier departures with an average of 66 seats per flight in April and an average of 52 total daily passengers.
