UPS First Operation in New Fargo Facility

Posted September 8, 2021

FARGO, N.D. (September 8, 2021) – UPS will launch operations later this month at its new air express facility in Fargo, North Dakota. The first flight of a UPS cargo jet to the new facility will arrive on Monday, Sept. 13 at 5:53 p.m. from UPS’s main air hub in Louisville, Kentucky. The Fargo facility will provide approximately 150 jobs, including a mix of part-time and full-time positions, with hiring beginning in mid-September.

“UPS is proud to work with the FAA and the Fargo Municipal Airport Authority. We have invested in this 63,000-square-foot facility to expand Fargo’s connection to the global economy,” said UPS Buildings and Systems Engineer Ninoska Meador, who managed the construction of the new facility. “We’re providing jobs locally, with tuition reimbursement, within a two-mile drive of North Dakota State University.

The Fargo Airport Authority congratulates the entire UPS team as they open their new facility at Fargo’s Hector International Airport. This facility will serve the entire state of North Dakota, and west central and northwest Minnesota. We are delighted to partner with UPS to expand services to keep pace with the incredible growth within the state of North Dakota, our community and the surrounding region. Fargo’s Hector International Airport has become a larger regional cargo hub as a result of the investment by UPS.
