Hector International Airport airline passenger traffic in December showed an increase when compared to the same month in 2017. In December 2018, the passenger enplanements were 36,422. This is an increase of 6.6% when compared to the December 2017 passenger enplanements of 34,156.
Total passenger count for the month was 71,870, which is up 7.8% over the same period last year.

Total passenger count for the year was 843,582, which is up 7.1% over 2017 which had 787,927 total passengers.

In 2018, 4,605 air cargo aircraft landed with a total landed weight of 275,305,359 pounds as compared to 3.869 air cargo aircraft landed with a total landed weight of 248,112,284 pounds in 2017. This is an 11% increase as compared to 2017.
UPS initiated air cargo service in Fargo on Nov. 2018. The new air cargo routes have jet service to/from the UPS hub in Louisville, KY and feeder air cargo service to all of North Dakota and NW Minnesota.
