Fargo Jet Center Receives Local and National Recognition
Fargo-Moorhead Chamber of Commerce “ChamberChoice Award” for Business of the Year
Fargo Jet Center Inc (FJC) has won the Fargo-Moorhead Chamber of Commerce “ChamberChoice Award” for Business of the Year. The announcement was made at the ChamberChoice Awards Luncheon, held on Thursday, May 13. More than 450 people were in attendance at the event, which honors the vigorous entrepreneurial spirit and important contributions made by businesses in the Fargo-Moorhead metropolitan area.

The ChamberChoice Award recipients were chosen from 90 nominated businesses. Selections were made by a panel of independent judges from the Fargo-Moorhead business community, who evaluated accomplishments in the areas of business growth, innovation, creativity, community involvement and unique achievements related to a specific business or industry. Names of the 15 finalists for the ChamberChoice Awards were announced at a March reception.
Fargo Jet Center Ranks Top in Region in a National Pilot Survey
Fargo Jet Center Inc (FJC) has been ranked #1 aviation service company in the North Central region in the first annual FltPlan.com 2010 Pilots’ Choice Awards. FltPlan.com invited 95,000 registered pilot users to rank a variety of services provided to them by aviation service companies. The survey was inclusive of businesses across the US, and categorized its finding by region.
FltPlan.com is a free service that assists pilots in creating and filing IFR flight plans and obtaining weather briefings. It also provides a navigation log for flights in the US, the Bahamas, Bermuda, many Canadian and Mexican airports. In 2009 FltPlan.com users filed over 4.3 million flight plans and requested over 4.2 million weather briefings.
