Hector International Airport’s airline passenger traffic in May showed another decrease when compared to the same month in 2019. May is the second month since the pandemic halted almost all air travel. In May 2020, the passenger enplanements were 5,190. This is a decrease of -86.3% when compared to the May 2019 passenger enplanements of 37,796.
Total passenger count for the month was 10,982, which is down -85.7% over the same period last year.
There were 167 air carrier departures with an average of 81 seats per flight in May and an average of 354 total daily passengers.
