Municipal Airport Authority honors Jose with High-Flyer Award

Posted May 4, 2020

The Municipal Airport Authority is honoring Darlene Jose with a High-Flyer Award. Jose is a longtime volunteer director of the airport information center, coordinating and training volunteers and maintaining information manuals among many other duties. She works in conjunction with the RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program), which oversees the volunteer program that serves the information center. Darlene also has helped to administer TSA Precheck events held at the airport the past couple of years.

“Darlene has spent hours and hours at the information center and continuously goes above and beyond to assist passengers, vendors and anyone who she comes into contact with – both in person or on the phone,” says Shawn Dobberstein, executive director of Hector International Airport. “Her hard work helps Hector Airport run smoothly, ensuring passengers who are flying Fargo get the information they need to have best experience possible.”

Darlene and her husband, Ralph Jose, are also longtime supporters of the Fargo Air Museum and members of Fargo AirSho Committee. The High-Flyer Award recognizes employees, volunteers and partners who are premier providers of services to Hector International Airport clients.
